The Thyme & Plaice, a family-owned restaurant between Chorley and Wigan.
Graham & Dawn would like to welcome you to the Thyme and Plaice Restaurant, this is a family owned business that opened in January 2001 in what used to be the Grey Horse pub between Chorley and Wigan.
Since then the business has had a renovation from an old style traditional pub to a stylish and cosy dining establishment. It is Graham and Dawn’s aim to provide excellent quality, modern, British restaurant food and service in relaxed surroundings.
We offer an A la Carte restaurant menu and midweek set menu that has been carefully compiled to suit a variety of dining tastes, both of which change in the first week, at the start of each month, with seasonal produce, sourced locally where possible. Also, Valentine’s and Christmas restaurant menus will be visible on the website at the relevant times.
We also have an extensive wine list including a Burgundy selection, an excellent cocktail menu, and a large Gin selection, for the Gin lovers out there.
When you book a table at the restaurant, it is yours for the evening, as Graham and Dawn don’t want the you to feel rushed, but give a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
We regret however, that we are unable to cater for children under 14 years old.
Vouchers are available by collection, with a minimum of £30 per voucher.
For any paid deposits, 48 hours are required for any changes or cancellations to get a refund. No refunds will be given if the time is exceeded.
